Fayetteville’s City Center Park officially opened on Saturday, July 17, 2021, just a few days after the adjacent Fayetteville City Hall. It has since become one of Downtown Fayetteville’s most popular attractions with its walking paths, playground, splash pad, dog park, and large activity lawn appropriately called “the Great Lawn.”

City Center park is open to the public and may be used free of charge. Special events take place on the Great Lawn regularly, and those hosted by Main Street Fayetteville and the City of Fayetteville are listed on this website’s calendar of events.

Located beside City Center Park are The Dottie, which is a special events center, and Triumph Station, which is home to eateries and meeting space. The Walton Communities mixed-use development on the south side of the park is under construction, and it will feature residential housing as well as commercial and retail establishments.

The spray pad at City Center Park is open during warmer months. The spray pad is open Tuesday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. It is closed on Mondays for routine maintenance.

City Center Park's splash pad is a top attraction in warmer months.
