Serving since January 2014
Scott Stacy has been a Fayetteville resident since 1996, moving here from Jacksonville, Florida to work with Atlantic Southeast Airlines. In 2010, he retired from the Air Force/Air National Guard as a Combat Survival Instructor, serving nearly 29 years. He has earned campaign medals for service in Iraq, Afghanistan, and numerous other combat deployments. He is currently an aviation safety inspector for the Federal Aviation Administration's air carrier policy division. He and his wife Gloria are proud grandparents.
Stacy can usually be found participating at most every City event, which may mean getting soaked in a dunking booth, jumping with kids in a bouncy house, or answering citizens questions. He’s always engaged in community activities and relishes bragging about Fayetteville.
Stacy says he and Gloria were drawn to Fayetteville for its high quality of life and excellent school system. He believes the City’s citizens are its greatest asset, and “smart growth” is its greatest attribute.
