Career
Captain Patty Kent began her law enforcement career in 1992 with the Fayetteville Police Department as a police dispatcher where she held the position of the TAC Officer.
She rose through the ranks reaching up to the rank of Captain over Uniform Patrol Division.
Education
Kent is a graduate of the Columbus State University Professional Management Program.
Certifications
In 1994 Kent attended the Public Safety Training Institute (P.S.T.I.) in Clayton County obtaining her state-mandated law enforcement certification.
Awards
Through her service with the department, Kent has been awarded Officer of the Year and Employee of the Year twice as well as various recognition awards and community service awards.
