Raffle ticket sales continue for a new 2023 Ford F-150 pickup truck, which benefits the Fayetteville Fire Department’s Fire Safety Education program as well as Fayetteville-based The Eden Project. The drawing, originally set for October 28 during the Tailgate with a Firefighter event, has been rescheduled to Saturday, December 2, during Main Street Fayetteville’s Miracle on Main Street event at City Center Park.
Only 1,000 raffle tickets will be sold, and they cost $100 each to purchase. Tickets are sold through The Eden Project’s website at www.eden-project.com/raffle.
“We didn’t reach the minimum ticket sales goal by the original target date, but interest in the raffle has increased, so we are continuing the raffle ticket sales through December 2,” said Fayetteville Fire Department Community Risk Reduction Officer Stephaene Core. “We hope to sell at least 650 raffle tickets, and we are capping the sales at 1,000 tickets. A brand-new Ford truck would be such a blessing for somebody this Christmas season.”
Proceeds from raffle ticket sales will help the Fayetteville Fire Department with several Fire Safety Education initiatives as well as supporting the efforts of The Eden Project, which offers much-needed support to military veterans reintegration to civilian life.
The raffle winner will be announced at the Miracle on Main Street event, but attendance is not required to win. The winner will be contacted directly by Fayetteville Fire Department personnel.
