Main Street Fayetteville's Third Annual Pumpkin Fest will light up the night Saturday, October 21, 5:30-9:30, on the Historic Courthouse Lawn. Featuring more than 60 Maker's Market vendors, food trucks, and craft beverages, this awesome autumn tradition also features a DJ, giant games, pumpkin decorating, trick-or-treat (5:30-6:30 p.m.), trackless train rides (5:30-7:30 p.m.), bobbing for doughnuts (kids at 7 p.m., adults 7:30 p.m.), an inflatable corn maze, and more.

Costume contests for pets (6 p.m.) and kids (6:30 p.m.) is always a hoot, and winners will receive prizes.

Of course, decorated pumpkins will line the Historic Courthouse Lawn for the annual Pumpkin Walk,

Event sponsors this year include Brightmoor Healthcare, Total Solutions Planning Group, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Also Saturday night, the Fayetteville Fire Department will host its annual Fall Festival Open House at Fire Station 91 beginning at 4 p.m. This annual tradition includes a free hotdog supper, games, prizes, giveaways, and public safety educational displays. Fore more information, visit
