A brand-new 2023 Ford F-150 truck is the grand prize in a raffle hosted by the Fayetteville Fire Department and Fayetteville-based The Eden Project and supported by the local Fayetteville Ford dealership. Tickets, available now through the October 28 drawing, are $100 each and limited to 1,000 for sale.

Raffle tickets are available for purchase at

Proceeds from raffle ticket sales will benefit the Fayetteville Fire Department’s Fire Safety Education initiatives and The Eden Project’s mission of providing world-class, community-based reintegration programs for U.S. Military veterans.

The drawing for the 2023 Ford F-150 truck and other great runner-up prizes will be held during halftime of the October 28 Georgia vs. Florida college football game, which will be shown on the big screen at the Fayetteville Fire Department’s annual Tailgate with a Firefighter event. The event runs from noon to 6 p.m. at City Center Park. Ticket holders do not need to be present at the event to win. Any raffle tickets still available will be sold up to drawing time.

In addition to the raffle drawing and football game viewing, the Tailgate with a Firefighter event will feature Fayetteville Fire Department apparatus displays, including our own original “Phoenix” the Fire Safety Bus, giveaways, fun activities, and reasonably-priced food, including a pizza kids meal served in a souvenir fire hat. Sparky the Fire Safety Dog will be there, too!

The Fayetteville Fire Department will also promote the truck raffle at their upcoming Station 91 Fall Festival Open House event on October 21. Station 91 is at 95 Johnson Avenue, two blocks south of the Historic Courthouse Square. The Open House begins at 4 p.m. and features a free hotdog dinner in the engine bays. It runs simultaneously with Main Street Fayetteville’s Annual Pumpkin Fest, which takes place on the Historic Fayette County Courthouse lawn.
