One westbound lane of Highway 54 will be closed on the east side of Fayetteville from Friday, August 9, 6 p.m., to Saturday, August 10, 6 a.m., to accommodate a water pipe repair. The lane closure will involve the right westbound lane (heading into Downtown Fayetteville) in the area of Gwinnett Street and The Southern Credit Union.
One westbound lane will remain open during the repair. The eastbound lanes will not be affected.
Please use caution in the area for the safety of the repair crew.
