UPDATE:
Due to inclement weather, the repairs and maintenance scheduled for June 19-21 has been rescheduled for June 26-28.
The playgrounds and spray pad at City Center Park in Downtown Fayetteville will be closed for repairs and maintenance Monday, June 26, through Wednesday, June 28. The rest of the park will remain open during this time.
Crews will be installing additional bonded rubber mulch to the playgrounds, and they will repair sections that were recently vandalized. Public access to the playgrounds and spray pad during the operation will be strictly prohibited.
If the weather cooperates and the work is completed as scheduled, the spray pad and playgrounds will reopen on Thursday, June 22.
