Fayetteville, Georgia – May 22, 2023 – Fayetteville Police are searching for a suspect in a shooting that took place Sunday night outside a home on Ferncliff in the Stonebrier residential subdivision, which is located along Lester Road and Old Norton Road.
Police responded at 11:39 p.m. to a report that a person had been shot at the Ferncliff home. Upon arrival, police discovered a juvenile male suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. The victim was transported to a hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
Detectives are pursuing leads in the case, and they ask anyone with information about the incident to contact Detective Snyder at 770-719-4283.
