Fayetteville, Georgia – March 24, 2023 – The much-anticipated Shred & Recycle Day returns to Fayetteville’s City Center Park on Saturday, April 29, 9 a.m. to noon.
This is a free event where residents are invited to bring paper for shredding and recycling, as well as glass and electronics for recycling. There are, of course, a few limitations on what can be shredded and recycled.
Participants may bring up to 10 small boxes (banker’s box-sized) or five bags of paper for shredding, and the paper must be free of binder clips, binders, CDs and such. Please note, we are not recycling cardboard at this event. Participants will be responsible for reusing or recycling cardboard boxes.
Ceramics, windows, and auto glass will not be accepted. TVs will be accepted, but fees will apply.
