Citizens Police Academy opening night

Thursday, March 9, 2023

The Spring 2023 session of the Citizens Police Academy will begin Thursday, March 9, at 6 p.m. Participant applications are due by Friday, February 10.

The Citizens Police Academy is hosted by the City of Fayetteville Police Department, and it takes place every Thursday, 6 - 8:30 p.m., from March 9 to May 11. Sessions take place at the Fayetteville Police Department Headquarters, 760 Jimmie Mayfield Boulevard, Fayetteville, Georgia 30215.

Applications are available in the lobby of the Fayetteville Police Department Headquarters or by e-mailing Officer S. Brandao at [email protected] or Officer S. Israel at [email protected].

Topics covered include: Traffic Law, Fraud/Scams, Illegal Drug Trends, Crime Scene Investigations, Domestic Violence Abuse, Defensive Tactics, Firearms Safety, and more.

The Citizens Police Academy program is managed and presented by the Fayetteville Police Department C.A.R.E. Unit.
