Fire Marshal

The Fire Marshal's Office is responsible for ensuring that new and existing construction complies with the Fire Code and all State and Federal rules and regulations.

Inspectors work to ensure that Fire Code is enforced, consistent, and accurate administration of the Fire Code in conjunction with the Building Code. Fire Department personnel conduct annual preplan reviews of all commercial businesses and structure within the City of Fayetteville Fire Department to ensure Fire Code Compliance is being met and upheld.

Inspections are done prior to the issuance of a required permit. Permits are required for activities such as the installation or repair of fire sprinkler systems, fire alarms systems, ansul/hood systems, and other special considerations.
