Homeowners Associations & Property Owners Associations
HOA/POA Basics
Homeowners associations (HOAs) and property owners associations (POAs) work with the City of Fayetteville to continually improve the quality of life in the community. While HOAs and POAs don’t enforce municipal ordinances, and the City doesn’t enforce HOA/POA covenants, together we can work to address challenges and build on our successes.
HOA/POAs are registered and regulated through the Georgia Secretary of State Corporations Division. HOA/POAs are not required to register with the City of Fayetteville. However, the City does maintain lines of communication with HOA/POA leadership located within the Fayetteville city limits. For this reason, we invite HOA/POA leaders to share their contact details with the City. An HOA/POA Leadership Registration form is located below.
The City hosts HOA/POA Quarterly Meetings at City Hall to foster information sharing and to discuss various issues relevant to our neighborhoods in general and to our HOA/POAs in particular. For more information, contact Public Information Officer Danny Harrison.
