The Planning and Zoning Commission is a volunteer board that reviews conceptual site plans, building elevations and preliminary plats for new development, as well as requests for variances and for special exception. The Commission provides recommendations to the Mayor and City Council on all requests for annexation, rezoning and amendments to the Future Land Use Map as well as assisting with the regular update to the Comprehensive Plan.
The six-member board meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 6:00PM in Council Chambers at City Hall, which is located at 210 Stonewall Avenue West. The current meeting agenda and meeting minutes are available in the menu to the left.
